Your Journey To Event Joy, Guided With Care.
Michelle is based in Los Angeles, CA.
About Me
Events are my passion. I live and breathe in the quick-paced environment that requires me to use my problem solving skills to the fullest. As a child of immigrants and an older sibling, I have seen my fair share of challenges. This translates to my ability to stay calm in stressful situations yet also strive for excellence in my work.
As a longtime lover of theater, it makes sense that I would immerse myself in the business of entertainment. Events are not only high-energy, memorable, and exciting but also are meticulous, unpredictable, and ever-changing. This means preparation is key — I pride myself in using my practical and life experience to prepare myself for whatever event challenge comes next.
My favorite part of events is that it brings people together. I find joy in meeting new people and interacting with attendees at my events. In my free time, I love attending events planned by other folks to see their thought processes and how they execute their big ideas. I’d love to work with you on your next event!
Featured Work
Clifford The Big Red Dog Trailer Preview
Paramount hosted an exclusive trailer preview for their feature film, Clifford The Big Red Dog, and invited over 250 attendees including influential bloggers, press, media, and special guests. The virtual event featured a moderated conversion with the film’s stars, Jack Whitehall and Darby Camp.
With only a brief turnaround, Michelle led the virtual event management in collaboration with the Paramount marketing team to host the trailer preview in PXL’s custom metaverse platform, VX. Her and her team were responsible for sending out customized email invites, incorporating film assets in the digital space for branding, and testing the VX environment for optimal performance.
As typical with a live event, there were technical challenges, last minute inclusions, and a learning curve for attendees who interacted with the metaverse. Michelle and her team successfully executed the networking portion of the event, the trailer premiere itself, and the Q&A with the cast which was done virtually in real-time.

TechCrunch Disrupt 2021
Disrupt is the original startup conference focused on founders, investors, and the future of tech. TechCrunch hosted over 10,000 attendees on their online event platform with the goal to network, connect, and collaborate. The event featured world-class speakers, industry stages, and The Startup Battlefield competition.
Disrupt featured over 300 startups in their Startup Alley, a curated digital experience for exhibitors, and Michelle assisted in onboarding their founders/representatives onto the event platform. Her responsibilities included speaker prep, website updates, live pitch feedback sessions, email communication, and Zoom webinars.
Each exhibitor demanded careful communication, with Michelle often dealing with last minute needs and requests while still providing thoughtful, detailed customer service. This required the use of different technologies such as Slack, Hopin, Bizzabo, Airtable and Zoom to create a cohesive virtual event experience.
The Latino Coalition Legislative Summit
As an event lead, Michelle was responsible for the initial venue search and eventual selection in the nation’s capital. This encompasses decisions on décor, food, and entertainment. With over 350 attendees, the event featured VIP government speakers such as The President and Vice President of the United States.
To execute a successful conference, her and her team accommodated Secret Service, press, vendors, event staff, and corporate sponsors. They had to juggle last minute registration changes, urgent client requests, and an ever-changing show schedule that demanded quick-thinking and problem solving skills.
